Micronutrients, or major nutrients, include carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Our bodies use various enzymes to break down these compounds. We also know of several types of proteolytic enzymes, including bromelain and papain, found in pineapple and papaya, respectively.

The nine active ingredients include other plant-based ingredients such as odorless garlic extract and turmeric. Turmeric is 95% composed of a type of polyphenolic compound called curcuminoids. Cinnamon and ginger are also popular ingredients in cooking and in this product. Ginger (Zingiber officinale) improves digestion.**

Chromium, biotin, and zinc contribute to normal macronutrient metabolism . Zinc contributes to normal carbohydrate metabolism, normal fatty acid metabolism, and normal acid-base metabolism.
